Cross Stitchers, if you haven't seen NeniDesignCrafts on Etsy, you must check out her shop. I'm hoping it's a "her" but . . sorry Neni if it isn't. Yesterday on one of the stitching Facebook groups, someone shared a KC Chiefs Gnome and said the purchased it from NeniDesignCrafts on Etsy. I shouldn't have but I went straight over there. I'm more of a reproduction sampler type girl but those ...
Jammy Barley Scones
I understand that very few folks here have grain mills but for those few who do, this recipe is delicious! I had seen it posted in a Facebook group last night and knew it was what we were having for breakfast today. Here's the link to the recipe to the original recipe. The lady who posted in the Facebook group had made some changes. These are the changes: Instead of using all purpose flour, the ...
This I Know Progress
Last night I finished the church! This is the cover picture: I still have leaves to do on the tree on the left. I still have all the leaves to do on the tree on the right, as well as the flower and the blue star, as well as a few of the "black "doodads" to stitch. This morning I made whole wheat biscuits, sausage, sausage & gravy and scrambled eggs. For dinner (we only eat twice) I made Asian Chicken Wings only because we wanted to get some for Sunday's game and when we were in Walmart Tuesday, they had some but they were "use by" tomorrow (Friday). I told Vince I would stick them in the freezer when we got home, then take them out Saturday and ...
Homemade Soap

That means that tub of soap has been moved from Kentucky to Missouri to Texas and back to Missouri over the last 20 years. That box smells so good! There's Freesia, Rose and Pear in there - maybe another scent or two. I didn't dig all the way to the bottom. I would sell my soap ...
