It Looks Like a Crime Scene

He was upstairs a good part of the day and I was in the kitchen but never once did he try to come in the kitchen.

He still got on the table once. I was in the kitchen; Vince was sitting at the table working on the computer. He said “Boots is on the table!” I grabbed my squirt bottle, went in there to find Vince petting him .. on the table. I squirted a mist of water on Boots and said “NO!” Vince said “You got me wet too!” I told him .. you encourage bad behavior so you get the punishment too. ๐Ÿ™‚

This morning I went in to check on Addie and she was all wrapped up – couldn’t even see a head sticking out.

I grabbed Boots and put him in bed with her and she was so happy to see him.

She asked me if I can bring Boots in to wake her in the morning. Yep . . I can do that!

Google cat air canister video to see the ssscat canister in action. Chewy has these and no water is involved.

Misting him works. That’s how we got him to not run out the sewing room door and leave the yarn winder alone.

We have always used water misters on our cats to keep them off the table. And Vince deserved it if he was petting the cat and encouraging that! LOL

I agree and it isn’t like we haven’t already talked about him not petting Boots when he’s on the table.

My three cats run when they see me pick up the spray bottle–they know what’s coming (and my husband may have been ‘accidentally’ sprayed a time or two). We tried one of those aerosol canisters that made a lot of noise, but it scared the dog and it didn’t last very long.
