First, you’ve probably noticed there’s no post from Vince again this morning. He said he would post something next week . . he’s still not feeling back to 100%.
I know that he’s just trying to be helpful but he actually spends more time on the internet than I do. When he comes across something he thinks I’ll like, he’ll subscribe me and then I start getting emails in my inbox. Sometimes . . it’s more than one per day. I really only subscribe to a few blogs and not even to many yarn shop updates any more. There was a time when I seemed to be getting so much of that stuff and I never read it so I spent what seemed like forever unsubbing from everything. Even now, I end up getting things that I am pretty sure I never subscribed to receive but then . . there’s the helpful husband.
The other morning I woke up to an email thanking me for subscribing to something for women over 60 or maybe it was 55 . . I can’t remember.
Me: Did you subscribe me to some email list?
Me: But, don’t you remember I asked you not to do that?
Vince: Yes, but I thought you’d like it.
Me: From now on, would you please just email me the link to anything you think I might like and I’ll decide, ok?
Vince: Sure . .
But I doubt he was really sure.
Friday morning, I woke up to this email from that group because I had meant to unsub and hadn’t yet.
That prompted another conversation:
Me: Do you know what I got from that group you just subscribed me to?
Me: Advice about how and when to get a divorce after 60. Is that the kind of advice you thought I needed?
Vince: No. You should probably unsubscribe.
Yes! I think that’s a good idea.

Makes me really glad my husband won’t even touch a computer! LOL
LOL, maybe he’ll think twice now. That’s hilarious!
Oh that is hilarious!!! I think if my hubby did that I’d have to kill him!! 🙂 Yes, just kidding, but he knows better! He even got his own email after our inbox started filling up with quilt shops and anything quilt related. I’ve tried unsubbing from some but I still get so many every day that I don’t have near enough time to even look at them all, let alone actualy reading them and possibly downloading something…. I’ll keep at it. Hope Vince is feeling better by tomorrow.
I’ve been missing his Sunday posts. Hope he feels 100% soon.
