I received an email from a very nice lady at Jimmy Beans’ Wools thanking me for mentioning them on my blog recently. She also told me about a project that will help children who were victims of the damages caused by Hurricane Harvey in Houston.
If you’re interested, you can go here and see the details. Basically, you order a kit to make a little stuffed critter. $10 from each kit sold goes to the Knowledge is Power Program (KIPP). I will always believe that education is the key to a better life for every child . . everywhere! Once you make your little critter, you can send them back to Jimmy Beans’ Wools and they will be donated to a child who has been affected by Hurricane Harvey.
I wanted to share this info because I feel it is a worthy cause. I know not all can help but I’m sure any help is appreciated.
With Jimmy Beans Wools already being a place where I shop, I will do so even more now knowing about their willingness to help in such a cause.
