Edit to add: OK . . the date is wrong but if I change it, it may mess up some of the feeds so let’s just all accept that I had no idea what the date is and despite it being big as day on the bottom of my computer screen, I still got it wrong! 🙁
It has been at least a year, maybe two, since I’ve had both my design walls full of current projects. On my large design wall are the blocks my friend and I are working on. This is two quilts – one for each of us – so these are a lot of blocks – 49. My friend has an extra block up there . . we each needed 24. Actually, my first two weren’t great so I made two to replace them so there are 51 blocks but my two extra aren’t on the wall.
On the smaller wall are the blocks for the Cabin in the Woods quilt. All 24 tree border blocks are done and in this picture, there were 2 cabin blocks made.
It feels great to be sewing again.

Thanks for hosting this weekend’s quiltathon. You got a bunch of blocks done, glad you are back in “the thick of it”.

Gee, I don’t tune in for a few days and presto! A whole new blog format. I like it and I hope you do, too.
It’s good to have you back at your sewing machine, Judy.

It’s intersting to see the 2 different layout styles. I want to trade #4 on the top row with #2 on the bottom row but they aren’t facing the same way… boy ,this quilting stuff is tough. !

It’s wonderful to see all your blocks! I’ll bet you’ve had a blast sewing with a friend. How was Boots behaving?
