My design wall is empty! I have put away the One Block Wonder blocks and began working on the quilt for Nicole’s sister but despite my plans, I have nothing on the design wall to show you. I did try to get all the threads off the flannel and clean the wall just a bit.
I have been sewing! Each sheet makes 8 half square triangles so I’ve been keeping a running total on the corner of each sheet. So far, I’ve made 152 half square triangles for Allison’s quilt and still have 96 partial quarter square triangles to get made, along with 28 flying geese, and then I can begin sewing blocks together. That’s my goal for this week – get the partial half square triangles and flying geese made, get everything pressed and papers removed and hopefully have a few blocks on the design wall by next week. It doesn’t sound like a very big goal but with my lack of sewing lately, I’ll be thrilled to get that much done.

Enjoy what stitching time you get in next week. Sometimes it just doesn’t happen.

I love Triangulations! One of these days I’m going to update and get the newest edition with the flying geese.
Have fun sewing this week. You should teach Boots how to take the paper off.

I’m sure Boots could do it but the half square triangle might not be real square once he finished his task.

Triangulations?? Is this a software program that lets you print out sheets of HSTs at whatever size you need for the blocks you’re making, or something else? What is the advantage of Triangulations over just printing paper piecing foundations for the whole block out of EQ7?

You can search the blog for my posts regarding Triangulations or google it for more info.

Actually, it sounds like quite a bit. Each of those things takes a lot of time, and you have one or two other things you are doing, I’m sure.
