You have to go watch this video before you read any farther. I hope everyone can see it. I can’t stop watching it but I am a Dachshund lover so it may not be so funny to non-dachshund fans.
Vince is actually the one who found the video and sent it to me. We have both watched it dozens of times!
This morning we had been to town and while we were away, the mail came. There was a package for me and it was from The Silver Needle. Vince retrieved it from the mail box and said “What did you buy now?” I pretended to not know what it was so I ripped into it and I said “WOW! I just sent them money and they gave this to me! They GAVE it to me! And now . . it lives at our house!”
He didn’t appear to be amused!
This is what they “gave” me. OK . . I bought it but it if it worked for the girl with the puppy, it should work for me, right? Nope!
Vince didn’t think my “gift” was nearly as funny as he thought the Dachshund “gift” was.

Hahaha!! I probably wouldn’t have been quick enough to come up with that line that quickly, but I love that you did! 🙂 My hubby sounds a lot like yours! He would not have been surprised if I’d come up with that line, but that didn’t mean he’d think it was funny.
We do have a nice arrangement here, though. No matter what happens, or who did it (or should have done it), it’s always his fault. He realizes this after 48 years and doesn’t even argue the point anymore. LOL It works for us, so I guess that’s what’s important!! 🙂

Isn’t that the cutest video? I really can’t stop smiling when I think about it. I know everyone has their own favorite breed of dogs/pets but I am so smitten with Dachshunds – especially the puppies and those with the funny facial expressions.
