Right! There are only about 5 million “great craft projects” I would like to start but this one REALLY caught my eye!
Last night I was watching Homemade on the Ridge’s Flosstube (#12). What I thought was going to cause me to go shopping was the floss organization system she was showing and I will think more about that but she showed some of the cutest little wooden stand-ups she had made using a Peanuts Valentine’s Day Card. This starts about 12:44 on the video. Addie’s grandpa loves Peanuts (the characters) and so does Addie. This lady’s dad had sent her this Valentine’s Day card so she ordered another one so her pieces would be two-sided. She gives excellent instructions on the video. I ordered two of those cards (you need two in order to get two sided stand-ups).
It’s a while before I will give them the Valentine’s decorations and I also found this Corgi card for Christmas.

There’s a Dachshund card too. So far, I haven’t ordered it. Oops! 🙂
There are so many things you could use to decoupage onto wood – just never really thought about it but I’m excited to get started.
We had to go by Lowe’s to get drainage pipes for the tomato tubs so I was able to get the wood I need. As soon as the cards arrive, probably Monday, I could get started but I think I’ll wait til I find some more things to do and the make several things at once.
I’ll probably glue some felt onto the bottom of the wood so they can be put on tables without scratching anything.
Y’all watch that video and tell me if you think those are not the cutest things ever!
