There are advantages to feeling bad. I would prefer NOT to feel bad but I’ve slept and cross stitched and that’s really about all I’ve done for a while.
Love is the Key by Teresa Kogut is a project I think I started in January, 2022. It was the project I brought to the basement with me when we moved downstairs for the upstairs floors to be refinished. I think I worked on it exclusively for three or four weeks before we moved back upstairs, then it met the same fate as most of my other projects – sitting without getting much attention.
Sorry for the washed out late night photo but I took it last night before putting the project away. I’ll get a better photo of it once it’s finished. I’m thinking I will finish it before the end of the weekend. All I have left to do is finish a couple of flowers along the bottom border; finish 7 or 8 small flowers on each side border, finish the bottom left flowers and stitch the bigger flowers in the green pot on the left.
Once I finish stitching, I will take it out of the scroll frame, mark where I want the “margins” to be. What do you call that space between the edge of the stitching and the frame? Then I want to see what other things I’ve finished that need frames and get those ordered.

You are so close to a finish! Not feeling well = bad; extra stitching time = good. 🙂
