There is decent progress on The Maker and The Needle Progress and I am enjoying stitching it.
Mine will look a bit different than the others because I obviously can’t count or read! 🙂

I do not like counting those tiny holes so I stitched some of the words and then count up from there. The base of the center tree was supposed to start over the “E” but it was the “E” in Needle . . NOT the “E” in Be! By the time I noticed it (yesterday), I had already stitched everything you see there. I will move the initials over between the basket and the tree, and then I’ll stitch the far right tree with the bird and see how much space I have between the two trees. I may have to stitch a smaller motif there but I’ll figure it out.

Those Es are problematic! I did that with one of the letters I was working on – it was supposed to go above the E in the word below it but I moved over a word and put it above that E. Luckily only had a few stitches in before realizing it wasn’t correct.

Hopefully we will both remember to check those letters!

Yes I was very careful after that to make sure I was looking at the correct letter! I just posted a finish photo of mine. I love it and have been wanting to start it for a long time so thanks for the SAL to get me going.

Why am I not surprised you’re finished? Going to check it out now.

I’m making good progress. I cheated and started before March 1. What can I say? I was excited to work on this one. It is a fun stitch. I love all of the motifs.

That’s ok. I thought about cheating too. If you would like to send me a picture when you’re finished, I’ll share it on the blog. If not, that’s ok.

I started on the 1st and have worked on it a lot. I got the basket to the left of the bird done and between yesterday and today I finished the bird and most of the tree. I did make a mistake on the tree. I have most of the letters done. I did make a mistake on the first M but it was too late to rip it out. I’ll try to send a picture.
