When I went to take Noble Birdseed off the frame, and empty a frame, I realized I had used a larger piece of linen and there’s still enough space on the bottom of the Noble Birdseed piece for something that will be about 5″ long, so I left it on the frame and will stitch something else on that piece of linen, then cut the linen when the second piece is stitched.
That left me trying to decide what to take on my trip . . like I think I’ll get a lot of cross stitching done!
I knew I was going to take a Shepherd’s Bush stocking kit that I’ve started but I felt like I should bring something else.
I have no empty frames that I can use at the moment so it had to be something already in a frame and I do need to finish some things.
I pulled out three – A Sampler For All Seasons, A Changed World and This I Know. Then I realized all three of those were on Rolaframe frames and I wanted to take the K’s Creation stand because it folds flat. In order for the Rolaframe stand to be flat, there’s a lot of disassembly that has to take place and there’s not a lot of extra room in Nicole’s vehicle. She’s bringing one or two ice chests to bring back food from Louisiana.
Then I began looking for projects on other frame that would fit the K’s Creation stands and most of those are much larger than I’m going to be able to work on at my uncle’s.
There are these two little holes in almost all my Rolaframe frames. I do think some don’t have these holes but most do.
The holes in the frame are larger than the bolts in the stand but they work! All this time I thought I couldn’t use the Rolaframe frames with the K’s Creations stand. This changes everything for me!
You can see how flat the K’s Creations stand folds down. It slips right into a pillowcase and that makes for very easy traveling . . so long as I’m traveling by car.
I chose A Sampler for All Seasons because it is very close to being finished. I think if I could get four or five hours work on it, I would have a finish. Can I possibly get three finishes in July? Maybe!
I’m also bringing A Changed World by The Scarlett House. There’s still a lot of fill in work to be done – mindless stitching. I can be talking and visiting and working on this one.
Another one I’m bringing is This I Know. There are sheep to be stitched all the way across the bottom and all the background will be stitched in green for grass. If I can get a few more sheep done, then I will start filling in the grass. More mindless stitching.
We’ll see how much progress I can get made on these four projects while I’m away.

So far, I’ve knitted and worked on one stitching project. I think I’ll get in a lot of stitching time tonight.
