This one was started around June 3 I believe. It was supposed to have been my June Cross Stitch Camp project, and it should have been finished by the end of June but it wasn’t. I don’t feel bad about that though because I stopped working on it to make a piece for a friend.
But, yesterday I finished Noble Birdseed Banquet and I love it.
Isn’t that pretty? I just looked at the online picture of the chart and realized the brown bird is supposed to have a blue eye. I don’t think I’m going to change it. Also, the center of the stars is supposed to have one dark gray stitch. I made a couple of them with that center stitch and decided I liked it better without that dark center. And, the wings are charted to have brown stitches on the blue bird’s wings and blue stitches on the brown bird’s wings but I liked those wings open and lacy looking so I didn’t put those fill in stitches.
That’s it. Can’t wait to get this one framed and on the bird wall.

Lovely! I’d really like to see a picture of your cross stitching on the walls. It might motivate me to do some.

Morning Judy, just love the lacy wings, it makes it personal to you. Just want to wish you all a safe trip there and back, found it hard to think of 11 hours each way.

It got worse. It took us over 13 hours! Still haven’t figured out why but it was a LONG day!
