Yesterday I was stitching and looked over at Oscar. I knew he was sleeping on the end of the love seat but seeing him like this made me laugh.
I can’t say from personal experience but that does not look like a comfortable way to sleep. I woke him trying to get a picture.
Look at those cute little teeth showing! He really didn’t want to be disturbed.
I think he decided if he covered his eyes and couldn’t see me, I would be gone and he could finish sleeping.
He still isn’t the quiet, trustworthy, always calm little dog but he has come so far. I was talking to a friend yesterday and she has a puppy about a month younger than Oscar. She was saying that we want them to be out of the destructive, crazy stage but it isn’t going to be too many years and we’ll be wishing they were still playful and crazy. Maybe! Maybe not. I’m surely enjoying him sitting by me and sleeping!

That third picture with his paws over his eyes really made me laugh. They get into such bizarre positions! I think about how stiff I would be if I tried anything like that.

Really! Trying it would be one thing. Getting back to normal . . no!

I just pupsat my friends 8 month old Dachshund. This 74 year old lady had so much fun playing and watching him playing with my crew, by himself and doing zoomies. Puppies keep us young.

How sweet. Made me smile. We both love playing with Oscar – especially now that those sharp teeth have been replaced with not quite so sharp teeth.
