Yesterday morning when I got up, this is what the sky looked like.
It looked like we were going to get a doozy of a storm but it drizzled a couple of times during the day and that’s all there was and it was warm outside.
Oscar was up at 4:30 this morning – little rascal! I knew it was supposed to be colder today but it wasn’t cold when I went out with him but I just now went out and it’s very windy and feels like 32 degrees. I won’t be doing much outside today and will be hoping Oscar is quick when he has to go out, though I know he won’t be. It’s funny because Speck totally disliked cold weather and anything below about 40 degrees and I had to carry him outside. Oscar loves it. When there’s snow on the ground, he stretches his little pink belly out on the snow. In the wind today, leaves and pieces of straw are blowing around and to Oscar that means . . run and jump and try to catch it all. I’m glad we got him on the back side of winter. It would have been harder if we had started this puppy journey in October and had to get through the entire winter. By the time winter comes around again, surely we’ll have this going outside stuff down to a few quick trips a day.
