It was only a giant bug to Oscar. He’s so funny. I have a hard time believing he’s so afraid of everything. Vince said he was out with Oscar and there was a bee in a dandelion and Oscar jumped about 2 feet and wanted to go back inside. Last night I was out with him and he heard a siren, way off in the distance and he wanted to go back in the house . . quickly!
Vince and I were sitting last night. Vince was playing a game online and I was stitching. Oscar started growling! I couldn’t see him but I asked Vince . . is that Oscar or Rita? She will sometimes growl when she wants to go out. I’ve never heard Oscar growl unless he was playing with us with his toys. He kept growling and Vince told him to stop but he kept growling. I stood up to see what he was doing and I said “It looks like he sees something!” I walked over there and it the tiniest little spider crawling across the floor . . not even near Oscar. I stepped on it and then picked it up with a tissue. At that point, Oscar was determined there were more of them. He kept looking at the baseboards and up the wall. For probably 10 minutes, he was so sure there were more and he was going to find them. Thankfully, he didn’t!
It reminded me of Addie. Let her see a bug of any kind and she doesn’t ever want to go in that room again! Remember the spider we saw last year? I’m not going in that bathroom!
I doubt Oscar remembers the bug by this time tonight but it was kinda funny.
