Here’s a recall notice I saw in my Facebook feed about some glass top stoves that were manufactured between December, 2016 and July, 2019. If you have one of this vintage, you may want to read the article and see if yours is part of this recall.
Mine is waaaay older than that and besides mine is just the cooktop. The oven is separate.

Will check this out. I have a glass top stove/oven in my new home, don’t much like the glass top. Any food over the side of the pot/pan is burned on. Bigger pots or pans has been a help, but I’m just glad I don’t have a big family to cook for these days
