Yesterday morning when I got up, it was raining. I knew Rita needed to go out pretty quickly. I kept waiting for the rain to slack off a bit. I wanted to take a shower and wash my hair but I wanted to take her out first. I looked out and it had stopped raining . . it was still drizzling pretty heavily but not pouring so I grabbed her, put the leash on her and went out.
I’m visiting family and not at home and the minute the neighbor walked over, I thought “Oh, crap! I’m not at home . . I’m out in the neighborhood with my pajamas on!” He didn’t act like he noticed and they weren’t obscene or anything but they were still pajamas and I was out in the yard where everyone could see me.
I told Vince . . “We’ve lived in the country too long. I just went out in the yard with my pajamas on and the neighbor was outside and came over to talk to me!” Vince said “I’m sure you’re not the first woman he’s seen in pajamas!” I’m sure . . but maybe the first out in the yard wearing pajamas.
I love my life in the country!

I live in the country, with a long driveway that I can see the beginning of from my living room window. When I see someone turning into the drive, I have enough time to dash into my bedroom and put decent clothes on before they get to the door. I am like Oprah, when I am at home in the house, I am in my PJs. I have one neighbor that often drops in and I am so lazy that she has seen me in my PJs probably more times than she has seen me dressed!

We have the gate and live far enough from town that no one is coming unless they call first. At home, no one xan see me out in my pajamas but at my uncle’s, not only are there a dozen ir more houses that can see me, but there is a good bit of boat traffic on the water. No more pajamas outside when I’m here.

I live in a suburban subdivision where homes are rather close together. I’d never think of going outside in my PJs unless my house was on fire!

Haha! I figure if you’re covered, it’s good enough!! I could go outside half-dressed if I wanted but don’t. Yes, country living is so much better than city living. Enjoy your visit!

I live with neighbors all around and I’m in the backyard sitting on the patio with coffee and my computer in my pajamas every morning.

I live in a small town and early in the morning, I’ll walk around outside my house in my PJs. They aren’t much different than what I wear most days anyway!
Joyce says
Over the years, I’ve seen plenty of neighbors in their PJ’s or a robe wander out to get the newspaper or take the dog out. I never thought too much about it. 🙂

I;m sitting in my living room, looking out at the well-used sidewalk (there’s a middle school down the street, plus people walking dogs) that’s 25 feet from my picture window, and above floor level. I rarely wear pajamas even inside! (At least not in the living room. The rest of the house is less visible.) Boy, are our lives different!!

How funny! I stay in my PJ’ s all day long some days and I even go to the trash can in them!! LOL I live in the middle of town!

Thank goodness I live where I can wear my gown outside. And the mail lady has caught me outside in my gown. We had a good laugh. But really, Judy, ya’ did not deliberately go somewhere in your jammies say like all the people I see at Walmart in their jammies and houseshoes.
Sherry in NC says
I work in a grocery store across the street from a college. We see a lot of kids in jammies and slippers and multi-colored hair. Sometimes worse than that. One day I looked up to see Abe Lincoln, a Native American and a Pirate walking down the aisle. Seems the school was having a play of some kind and the actors were hungry.

Last night there was a very well endowed young woman in the restaurant in what appeared to be her bra and pj bottoms–so why can’t you wear pj’s in the yard???? 🙂 🙂
