While in Missouri, I took several videos but never could get them to upload. Chad’s internet is faster than ours but not fast enough. I may have mentioned this before but the camera uses an SD Card and Vince prefers to use the full size SD card for video but the Chromebook I was using only takes the micro SD card so I couldn’t take the card out of the camera and put it in the computer.
The camera battery cannot be charged while in the camera. When I would plug the camera into the computer to download the videos up to Youtube, the battery would die before the video finished uploading so . . that way didn’t work either.
I got home and gave Vince my sob story. He ended up taking one of my old Windows laptops, totally wiping it clean, re-doing everything and I will use it only for uploading videos. I suppose I can also use it for the blog posts and email so when I’m traveling, I only have to take on computer but . . I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.
It takes a bit over 3 hours to upload a 20 minute video. I’ll be so happy to get faster internet . . some day . . I hope!

Wow. That’s amazingly slow! I don’t upload many, so I don’t have a lot to compare, but I don’t think one has ever taken so long.

A lot of people go to the library to download things. Some even leave it accessible when they are not open.
