Are you ever going to tell us WHY they had a dead mouse in the freezer?

I once went home to find a hawk in mom’s freezer. Since it died during a time when there was an issue with some illnesses with birds, she had called some agency to see if they wanted to test the bird. I convinced her that since they haven’t responded, it was probably ok to throw it out.
But, we used to make snowballs during the first snowfall of the winter season, so we could later have a snowball fight in the heat of the summer. I still make one snowball each year as a memory of those good times.

Ok, in my lifetime I’ve probably killed 100 or more mice (we live in the woods) but I would NEVER put a mouse in the freezer!!! That’s just strange! 🙂

Squirrel that her cats caught and wrap in newspapers and put into the freezer until garbage day, so they wouldn’t smell. So they were never staring at you in the freezer.

I used to have a dead zoo in my classroom. My aide brought a mouse in good condition that she had killed and we put it in a pint canning jar that we filled with alcohol … like the snake the bus ran over and the scorpion my son got from a swimming pool, and other fun things. It was a favorite spot in the classroom, looking at the dead zoo. But in the freezer? No, thank you! LOL
