Addie loves these pajamas.
They’re probably size 5 and she really should be wearing a size 8 for the length. She just can’t give them up. It really isn’t cold enough for these thick, fuzzy pajamas but I think she’s afraid if she doesn’t wear them every night, someone may throw them away.
Letting go of beloved clothes is tough. Hopefully, soon, she’ll realize they’re just too warm and they’re too small and no longer comfortable.

Heck Granny, invest in some knit ribbing, cut those things into a top and pants, add the ribbing to the waist of each and if needed, cut the ribbing off the pants and hem into shorts. WahLaa, new pjs!

She looks very tall and grown up in those photos.

They have a big zipper down the front so that may be a little above my ability. They’re actually way too tight through the hips and thighs too so I think we’ll just look for something similar in a size that’s a size bigger than she needs at the moment.

That’s too bad. I love when the kids have their favorites. One granddaughter has a fleece jacket that is about 3 sizes too small but she still wears it. We have all bought her new jackets but she still wears her favorites. I’m going to turn it into a pillow for her one day. :}

I believe my bent big toes are due to a pair of shoes I wouldn’t give up. At least the pajamas won’t stunt her growth! (Or be seen outside the house).

And maybe there will be a promise of “someone” getting her a larger size for winter!!
Susan says
I totally sympathize with her! I do the same with a lot of clothes, and the pink fuzzy footie PJs are at the top of the list.
