There have been a few new patterns added since I last shared my new patterns so I thought I’d help you all spend some of your hard earned money!
I love Jennifer Weissman’s patterns and the first three are her designs and the first two have just been released and have a discount til noon EST Monday but always be sure to check before purchasing.
- Cascara
- Knitting with Fronds
- Betangled Hat – Love those cables!
- Coastal Highway
- Psychrophillic – I had to look up the meaning of that word – organisms that can grow in extreme cold. I guess I won’t find many around my house! The neck may bother me but maybe not. I can always knit the neck differently if I decide to do so. When I’m sitting in my chair knitting, and the heater kicks on, the return air vent drafts cold air from somewhere past me so most evenings in winter, I’m sitting with a sweatshirt on and since I don’t like long sleeves, I think this might be perfect for me.
- Nightshift – I wasn’t going to buy this one and have looked at it again and again but then I saw a couple on Instagram that were gorgeous so I decided to buy the pattern and make one.
- All of the Lights – This is another one I went back and forth on but then a friend twisted my arm and made me get it. Thanks, Karen! I don’t think it will be a quick knit but it’s gorgeous!
Those patterns would be enough to keep me busy for a while! 🙂

I like the psychro one, but shorter since the length would bug me. I can see the usefulness of the neck and shoulder coverage when there are drafts.
The last one – all of the lights – is also nice since I prefer open sweaters to over the head. It’s something about being able to put on – shrug off – put on again issues when you get older or when you live in the south with too much air conditioning!

So glad I could help:) I’ll be in Georgetown in a few weeks – wonderful yarn shop (A Sheep At The Wheel) so I’ll be getting the yarn for this one sooner than I thought. If you ever get to Georgetown it’s well worth a stop. I’m anxious to start this one.
