Some of this is new yarn that arrived yesterday. It’s for Heart Beet and I can’t wait to get started on this project. I really think it will be the first thing I start after finishing these two test knits.
I don’t know why I’m drawn to brown and green. I love brights way more than I love “normal” colors and brown is so not my color but that’s ok. I’ll make and wear it with pride.
All of the yarn is Dream in Color Smooshy. The one on the left (which I already had) is Tumbleweed. How could I NOT use a color named Tumbleweed. Those things are so funny to watch. That will be the yoke. The middle color is one of ESK’s special colors for this year and it’s part of their Around the World series. The color is India. The color on the right . . part of the same series, is Japan. The colorwork on top of the Tumbleweed, as well as the main part of the sweater will be done with India and the trim will be done with Japan.
It wasn’t a huge purchase because I already had the Tumbleweed, and only needed two skeins of India and one skein of Japan.
Both India and Japan are part of my year long temperature challenge project.

I like the way it shades from one into the next one. I wouldn’t have called that brown. It’s too pretty. =)
