While I won’t go into specifics . . tomorrow is Vince’s blog post and who you gonna believe? Me . . you’ve trusted me for years; or . . Vince? 🙂
I feel like I need to defend myself. Vince says “They’ve never heard the truth! They only hear one side of the story . . YOUR side! 🙂
That’s all I’m saying.

I read both sides and decide. yes we have followed you for years. but sometimes I wonder about all that yarn and the prices are outrageous will you ever in your life use it and will you ever stop buying it. I would’t in my life pay that kind of money and I can if I wanted too.
Judy Laquidara says
Everyone gets to spend their money the way they see fit. We aren’t taking any of it with when we go . . whether it’s money, jewelry, houses, land or savings accounts. I never concern myself with how anyone else is spending their money so long as they aren’t asking me for any of mine. I think many of us have things we will never use up completely – yarn, fabric, art supplies . . whatever we happen to collect. To each his own!

Looking forward to the new post……y’all always make me smile!!! AND, FWIW, I was looking at multiple storage containers of TOO much material, TOO much yarn, TOO many patterns, TOO many books as well as all the patterns stored on my computer and told myself that my kids will be RICH when I’m gone, LOL.

Forgot to say this was things I was look at today while I was doing laundry (in my “studio”, AKA “storage” for my STUFF”.

Well, I am certainly looking forward to the morning post. Vince is a great writer and I really enjoy reading his perspective; especially interesting because of his career. I enjoy reading about all his projects.

And now I am really looking forward to seeing Vince’s post. Oh, the things we may learn. 😉

Love the ongoing saga of Judy-in-Texas and now Vince! And as we are packing things for storage while we are in New Zealand for 9 months,I say to my husband Judy -in Texas was the cause of that. Love you both!

LOL!! Live and learn, right? I definitely have more fabric than I will ever use, and I still buy more…. I have lots of yarn too, and don’t knit or crochet as much as I see…. We aren’t even close to being rich, but we make enough to get by,.. I still feel guilty when i total up a fabric order online,!. It doesn’t stop me from buying, though…We all have our vices. At least ours is legal!!! 🙂
Judy Laquidara says
Like I said, we’re not taking any of it with us when we go. I’m sure it’s the same way for you but buying the yarn, planning the projects and choosing the yarn is as much fun for me as is making the project. I’m so glad we do have wholesome hobbies and we’re able to make projects and share with our friends, as well as those who need a warm quilt, or a warm hat, as well as those who just need to know someone cares.
Kathleen says
Buy all the yarn you want! No one should judge you for that. It’s not like you’re using money meant for food or expecting a handout because of poor financial management.
It’s fun to read Vince’s posts. He has a sense of humor like you. It doesn’t feel like he’s trying to start a fight – its entertainment.
Dottie says
Amen!
Judy Laquidara says
Thanks! Yes, Vince is pretty funny and I think, even though we do give each other a hard time, we’re both loving his retirement.

I don’t know Vince that well, so I am going to have to be on your side! Too bad Vince! Judy is my friend.

I’m sure it will be interesting. =) Collecting is half the fun, and when I’m gone, my son will invite my young friends over to take it all home, most likely. That’s okay with me. =)
