It has been a busy morning. We had the stove repairmen out to fix the sensor on the oven and the fridge repairman came and replaced the ice maker. The stove was repaired under the home warranty and the fridge is only 7 months old so Frigidaire or Sears sent someone out to repair that.
Today was some kind of crazy dress day . . dress like a tourist I think. Addie wore her Toledo Bend Lake t-shirt, a fishing vest, a fishing cap and her trout fishing vest.
I’m not real sure how the unicorn mittens fit into the tourist outfit but she wore them too.
Tomorrow is crazy dress day . . crazy hair, crazy socks, everything crazy. We ordered Addie some crazy socks and she’s so excited to wear them. This morning I was reading off the list and when I got to “crazy hair”, she said NEST hair! I’m always telling her that her hair looks like a bird has been trying to build a nest in it. She hates combing or brushing her hair so tomorrow will probably be her favorite day . . she doesn’t have to do anything to her hair!

My kids loved crazy hair day. My son had spikes everywhere with his gel. My daughter has long hair – so it was a braid, a ponytail, water spout, all at once, all over the place. Another favorite day pyjama day.

That all makes me wish I was still teaching. I loved those days! The students and teachers make so many wonderful memories.
