This morning, Addie’s little eyes popped open about 6:30 and she said “Granny, let’s get up and eat!” I thought . . that’s weird coming from the child who would rather do anything than eat.
The unicorn cereal was pretty good . . tasted a bit like a cupcake.
Pop tarts aren’t my favorite to start with but they eat them cold instead of toasting them. Addie loved them and that’s what mattered. Hopefully the excitement of having unicorn pop tarts and cereal has passed and we won’t have to wake up so early tomorrow to eat breakfast.

I hope you brought those new socks/booties of yours. It just dropped to 60 here in OKC and it looks likeht ecold front is approaching SW Missouri corner.
Curious about another point – since you are driving a lot, do you have a TX or OK pikepass account? I checked the tolls on my account and it’s $9.00 for OKC to the state line on the Turner & Will Rogers Turnpikes. And that’s will a pikepass. And, I know that I can use the OK tag on North TX toll roads and in Kansas. And it’s nice that you drive past the toll booths where there is usually a line.
Enjoy your time in MO!

Gees – autocorrect or in some cases, non-autocorrect. “likeht ecold” = like the cold and “that’s will” = that’s with

Yes, we bought the Pike Pass when we first moved to MO almost 12 years ago because we used the toll roads going back and forth to Louisiana. The Pike Pass works for north TX but not for the Austin area so we also have the TX Tag.
Did not bring those socks but brought others.

LOL…I’m glad Addie liked them, but I apologize if you’re having to eat this every day! 🙂
