Today I was gone most of the day but I was not the driver so I brought my knitting. My friend had an appointment in Abilene and I went with her. I planned to knit all the way there and all the way home but we were so busy talking, I only managed to get a few minutes worth of knitting done while waiting for her while she was at her appointment.
The days are ticking away and I’m not finished with my August Camp Loopy project jet. I’m getting closer but not very quickly. I just hope quickly enough!
I’m hoping to be able to get a few rows done tonight. The rows are long . . I’m up to about 550 stitches now. It has a picot bind off so that won’t be quick but it’s going to be pretty.
Wish me luck with getting this done in time.

I do wish you luck in finishing! All seriousness aside, can’t you knit and talk at the same time? LOL I suppose the pattern is too complicated and you need to concentrate?

I think you are going to finish. I don’t think I will. I am not doing Camp Loopy. I had to un knit over half a wedge. Some how I didn’t do the lace row between the wedges. I think that has made me lose steam. Also I have a friend that her sister is undergoing treatment for ovarian cancer. So I asked her what her sister’s favorite color is and she said pink. I have no pink yarn. So I went to the yarn shop… 40 miles on Saturday and got some pink yarn. I have cast on Cosmic Girl by Nadia Crétin-Léchenne – https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/cosmic-girl. So my Slow Curves may essentially be in time out. I’ll keep you posted. LOL
