The last time I was here, I brought Chad two of my artichoke plants. I figured they’d die . . Chad and Nicole travel quite a bit but with Addie starting to school, those days are over.
I looked back behind their house and their two artichokes are doing great.

They’re going to keep them in pots til spring. Theirs are now about twice as big as the ones I have. They also have watermelons that should be about ready to pick. He and Nicole are both good little gardeners.

They do look healthy. How long before there are fruit on them? Are they like fruit trees which have to grow a few years first?
