A reader wrote me that a blood sugar reading of 70 was only too low if you’re a diabetic taking meds so I’m not going to worry about my blood sugar but I will continue to take it from time to time to be sure it doesn’t go too low. I doubt it will but . . better to be safe than sorry.
This morning I was feeling a bit “needy” so I had a slice of toast . . the thinnest slice I could slice and still toast. I only ate a bit over half.
Even with the bread, I’m still only at 13 net carbs.
Actually I’ve loaded up everything I plan to eat today and looks like I’m way short on net calories, protein and fat.
Adding half an avocado and some salami for a snack and that brings me closer to where the app says I should be.
If I’m hungry this evening, I’ll have the snack. If not . . I’ll just do without.

Be careful not to go too low on calories. When you get fewer than 1000 calories a day, your body can go into survival mode, and you won’t lose weight.
