For months and months, I’ve searched everywhere locally for Bride’s Cake ice cream. Every now and then, we find it. We go to Missouri or Louisiana and it’s everywhere there.
Yesterday we were shopping and look what Aldi had.

Of course, I’m not eating ice cream now but wouldn’t you know it . . when I can’t have it, it’s easy to find.

Does it really taste like cake? Not sure we even have Blue Bell in in New England. I haven’t seen it in NH but I don’t normally look thru the ice cream section. Are you allowed a small scoop on occasion or is all dairy forbidden?

Yes, it really does. It has pieces of cake and pieces of icing and it seems to have an almond flavored base. It is so yummy. Blue Bell is mostly sold across the south and southeastern states. Yes it taste like cake. Seems real cake is mixed in with it. What those people in Brenham will think of next !! It’s a seasonal flavor. Blue Bell can be purchased in Texas, Oklahoma,Louisiana,Mississippi, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and New Mexico. Also can go to Blue Bell’s web site and have it sent to you. BB’s Homemade Vanilla takes soooooo gooood !!

At least for now I’m sticking with the meats and veggies. I’m sure one spoonful isn’t going to hurt anything. In fact, yesterday, I needed extra carbs and ate a fig – 7 carbs for one fig and I think about the days when I ate dozens of them!
