I have responded to several comments that winter is over for us. Wrong! What is wrong with this weather? It was 97° yesterday.
Can you believe it? High of 66 tomorrow. Low . . 33. I kept looking. Am I on the right location? Am I on the right date? Yep. Yep. Am I on the right plant? Maybe not! How can I have a garden when it’s 97 and then a bit more than 24 hours, it’s 33 and it’s done this two weeks in a row now.
What I really got online to check was the weather in Louisiana because north Louisiana may be having scary weather.
Darn! I wish I hadn’t even seen our weather forecast. At least I can turn off the a/c for a day.

Here in Michigan it was 68 degrees and sunny yesterday and I had hopes that spring had finally arrived. Today, we’re preparing for a winter storm over the weekend that will see us getting 1/2 to 1 inch of ice, projected widespread power outages, and possibly being housebound and with no power for several days. We have plenty of food, fuel, candles, lanterns and blankets, portable oxygen for my aunt, so we’re ready to hunker down for a while. And it’s friggin April 13!!!!

Ours isn’t swinging quite that high – 82 today, but two days from now, the low will be 35, so it is puzzling. Why are we on this roller coaster this year?

We are hunkering down here for a winter storm as well…12-25 inches of snow, then freezing rain then a lot of rain. We are prepared and have a generator, wine and yarn. Will be windy too..I hate the wind.
