Our second day of house hunting has gone much better than did our first day. We’re both trying to stay calm, weigh out the options. We still haven’t decided for sure which state we want to be in but we looked at a house this morning that has both us pretty happy.
Hopefully tomorrow we’re meeting with an a/c guy to give us estimates on replacing the upstairs and downstairs a/c and furnace units. I think we’ve confirmed that we can get high speed internet here (DSL . . not fiber).
We’re early into the stages of looking but this house gives us hope that we will find the perfect house. For me . . it has green grass and a nice kitchen and that’s about all I need. I say that now but I do love this house.
We have a figure in our heads for the a/c replacement so we’ll see what the expert has to say tomorrow.

It is a beautiful place. i can only say watch out for a 2 story with your knee. As you know 2 story houses cost more to heat and cool and remember that budget? . Just my 2 cents worth. It is very pretty.

Beautiful house. Is there room for a garden? Is there a hobby/work space for Vince?

Master needs to be on the ground floor. I could not do stairs. I remember my MIL tugging to climb stairs- they had to sell the house because she could not do it.

I love it! Is it in LA?? But as you know, looks aren’t everything. Hope it is sturdy and not like the last one you looked at!
