As if a trip to the dentist isn’t scary enough on a normal day, I went on Halloween! All the staff were dressed in costumes, but everything was in good taste. I never even looked at the dentist so I don’t know if he was normal or not. He comes in from the back, starts working kind from the back/side and he was talking to me but I never saw his face and then . . poof . . he’s gone . . on to the next victim!
I was sitting in the waiting room knitting, someone walked in and I looked up and it was GROSS! I think they all said it was from Walking Dead. It was horrible. By the time I looked up, he was already at the counter and the girls were squealing. I could only see his back and he was covered in “blood”. My first thought was that someone had attacked him and honestly, in most of our town, that just doesn’t happen, at least not in broad open daylight.
Then, he turned around. I asked if I could take his picture and he said yes. I asked if I could post it on Facebook and he said yes. I didn’t ask if I could post it on my blog so I’m not posting it here but if you’re my friend on facebook (Judy Laquidara), you can see it. Warning . . it is really gross but I don’t watch Walking Dead.
Then, I went back into the exam room and they have big picture windows all the way across the back of the building so every room has a view.
They keep the bird feeders filled, the hummingbird feeder had nectar in it and there were little piles of corn here and there for the deer. How nice is that? Nice for these city dwelling critters and nice and calming for the patients who are just about to go over the edge while having dental work done. The dentist lives out in the country so I’m betting his place has all kinds of feeders and wildlife habitat.

I don’t do Facebook, so I’m sorry I can see the scary face. If they don’t mind you posting on Facebook, wouldn’t think the blog would be a problem. Was he a patient or just delivering something.
