I’ve started another of Joji Locatelli’s patterns – Longline Cardi. I’m doing this as another project for her Fall Knit Along. I’m using Malabrigo Mechita in Azul Profundo. This photo was taken in the evening with my horrible inside lighting. I need to get a picture in the daylight because this color is just gorgeous. The blue seems alive.
I’m using Mechita despite my better judgment. I’m not much of a fan of single ply yarn but there’s so much of it out there and so any people love it, maybe I’m missing something. I’ll try again.
Joji’s patterns are amazing. The construction is always interesting and Longline Cardi is extremely interesting. It’s one of those times when I have to trust the pattern and not try to figure out in my head where I’m headed with this. I’m really enjoying working on this one and I think, even with fingering weight yarn, it’s going to go pretty quickly . . or, it would if I wasn’t working on 20 other projects at the same time!

Your last four posts are about knitting. I love when you talk about knitting or yarn now that I live close to two yarn shops and I have my own five knitting projects going. I’m a little obsessed with my fan and feather shawl I shamelessly copied from Denise.
