Every day I think . . today is the day I’m going to finish Drachenfels but so far, it isn’t finished.
I’m finished the with the solid reddish section and starting on the last striped section. I doubt I finish it today but maybe tomorrow. I love the way the colors are working together on this project. The reddish yarn is a OOAK (one of a kind) from Madelinetosh. I think it’s a little like some of the Amber Trinket colors I’ve seen but not totally. I like it a lot. I love how it has just a bit of goldy rust, and then some bright, almost iridescent, orange, but mostly reads red.
I highly recommend this pattern for anyone wanting a mindless knit. So easy but yet so pretty!

What weight yarn are you using. Do you think I could make it with fingering weight?

If I were to take up knitting, it would be because of your Drachenfels shawl posts. What fun detailing it produces in the shawl!

You’re so close! You’ll have it done before you know it.
