Noon Update: Just a couple more blocks to make and we’ll have them all done. Then we’ll start stitching the edges down.
Welcome to Day 2 of the January Quiltathon!
Several have asked about whether to make one blog post or two or one link up or two (or more). You do it any way that works for you. I don’t mind if you had several links throughout the day. For me, my plan was to update the original post so the link box post didn’t get buried underneath several other posts. With the blog changes, my updates got lost so I’ll recap here:
My friend came over a little after 8 and we sewed til I had to stop and get lunch done about 10.
We got a few more blocks done, a few more rectangles cut, even a tree for the other quilt done and an orange note to ourselves on the design wall!
By the time we quit sewing a little before 4, we had doubled the number of blocks made, auditioned a couple of sashing options, made another tree block for the other quilt and had a whole lot of fun.
There’s a good chance we’ll get all our deer blocks done by the end of today, then we can make a decision about sashing and maybe start sewing rows together.
Good luck to the rest of you. I hope you get lots accomplished today!

Judy, Love the colors of your new setting. But I have a problem. I check your blog out each morning with a cup of tea and read the several post of the previous day. Now I get the last one and can not figure out how to get the other 3 or so of the day… Am I missing something on the side bar that makes it easy to find them?
JudyL says
The main page now has 5 or 6 posts showing but I’ve added recent posts on the side bar. Is that what you’re asking? If not, ask again and I’ll see what I can do.

I noticed that you added the previous/next post at the bottom of the page. And, I finally moved down far enough to see that you have sections on other social media. How do you have enough time to post on all these different mediums??
JudyL says
Yes, I asked the blog lady to do that after I think it was you who mentioned that we needed that. Thanks!

To Becky T., if I understand what you’re asking, I think if you click on “home” it will take you to all the posts. I’m adjusting to this new look, seems many of my long-standing reads have freshened the look of their blogs. I’m thinking I like this change…and will like it even more once I get used to it. 🙂
