The other day we were at our favorite little cafe and they have a Blue Bell freezer for ice cream treats.

Without even thinking about it, I walked over to see what they had . . nothing!
Empty!
Absolutely nothing! I’m sure hoping Blue Bell gets it all straight and has ice cream back in these freezers soon!

Sad days for those of us partial to Bluebell. The first time we went to see my mom after she remarried (they lived in Brenham), she took us outside to the special freezer that was stocked with every flavor of Bluebell. Her new husband liked to have a choice and did not want to have to run to the store! He kept track of what needed to be purchased each week.

Hoping Blue Bell will lower their prices as a good will gesture when they come back with new product. Love a good sale on BB.

When I heard about the Blue Bell ice cream mess, of course I immediately thought about you! I hoped that you had stocked-up on non-tainted ice cream to get you through the ordeal.

yep, i checked their web site and they do plan to go back into production. also they said that they planned to keep all their employees. i think that’s nice, and i’m looking forward to buying more Blue Bell ice cream!

The Blue Bell in the Phoenix area has closed. I can’t remember if it was a warehouse or just a distribution center but it was closed several weeks ago and all the employees were let go. It is sad.

i so miss my blue bell. ever since it made it’s way to florida, i’ve had blue bell every day. i’m in withdrawals. went to the store yesterday and bought four different brands of ice cream. none of them can hold a candle to blue bell. i’m in their ‘country club’ and would get $1 off coupons. our groceries locally and our walgreens have sales with blue bell at 4.99. i stock up then. so i feel everyone’s pain. i know that blue bell will do the right thing.

That Homemade Vanilla that we had tonight was the last of our stash of Blue Bell so I’m right there with you. Vince and I are going to start Weight Watchers soon but I was kinda hoping the ice cream would be back in the stores before we start so I can get just a little of it before I have to give it up.
