I love Valentine’s Day! I love having family and friends who I love and who love me. I can’t imagine living without loving and being loved in return. My prayer is that we all love and are loved by someone!
This is going to Addie.
The other day I was video chatting with her and I said “What are we going to do when I come to see you?” and she said “Eat chocolate!” I started laughing because I don’t eat chocolate and Addie said “Nana (her other grandma) feeds me chocolate!” It was kinda like she was saying . . do you love me as much as Nana loves me? Then feed me chocolate!
For our Valentine dessert, I made a batch of Red Velvet Swirl Brownies. There are few chocolates that I like but brownies are at the top of my LOVE list!
This is a Valentine quilt I made for Vince back in 2008. It was made using Tanya’s letter technique, which she now has in a book, Word Play Quilts. It’s a fun technique.
The backing fabric is sweet!
Hope you all have a great day and get to spend time with those you love.

Galen and I had our Valentine Dinner at the Oasis on Thursday evening. Today we celebrate Tilly’s 8th birthday, tomorrow we have Dad over and combine everything! Meyer Lemon cheesecake for dessert and I think I will throw steaks on the grill.
Happy Valentine Day

Love the Baptist fan quilting on the Valentine Quilt!!! Was it LA’d with a pattern or did you do it? Gorgeous.

Yes, on a longarm. I used the giant Baptist Fan template from Circle Lord.
