I’ve been in MO for a week and it’s time to go home. My trip was cut short by a few days because of ice and snow predicted for Sunday. I had planned to leave on Monday but it looks like, had I stayed, I would not have been able to leave til Wednesday, which would put me being gone almost two weeks and that’s more than Vince can handle. Besides his job, he’s having to take care of Boots, Rita, Speck, the chickens, and water the garden, feed the worms, water the bedding plants . . it’s a lot for him to do and he’s ready for me to get home so, with the weather forecast, I’m on my way home.
We had lots of fun! Addie had never worked a puzzle and I brought her one and she loved it!
For a 2-1/2 year old, she does an amazing job of working the puzzles and what surprises me is that she will stick with it til it’s done. She gets lots of help from mommy, daddy and granny. We got her a few more puzzles and she loves them. She calls them “puzzle games”.
We made and decorated Valentine’s Cookies.
Time passes way too quickly when I’m with them and it will probably be four months before I see them again. Thank goodness for our almost daily video chats!
