No matter where I go, I take way more stuff to work on than I’ll ever get done. Do you do that too? When I went to visit the kids, I took enough knitting to keep Nicole and me busy for a year and of course, we didn’t get to most of it. I also took the giraffe quilt and she was going to work on and we didn’t get to that either. She needs it back, finished, for a baby shower the end of the month so I came home and got right on it. I changed the pattern up a bit. After playing around with it in EQ, I decided on this:
I will bind it in the dark pink but first, I have to do a little embroidery and then quilt it. My plan is to have it in the mail to Nicole by Monday.

I always take too much too! And it always helps me to have a dead line to get something finished. Such a cute quilt!

Watch out! Woman on a mission!

Better to have to much to than not enough. I always over do it also. Can’t wait to see the embroidery work on the giraffe!

My thought is I’d rather have too much than to run out and WISH I’d brought more!! You guys got quite a bit accomplished so all’s good.

What a cute quilt! I, too, always am overly optimistic as to how much I can get done when we’re away. And like the others, I guess it’s better than to run out!

I always take too much too but when my husband drives I need something to do. Just a reminder, Monday is a holiday and there won’t be any mail!

Yup, I overpack too! The top is super cute!
