Remember I was looking for a good, basic top down pullover with no seaming? This morning I found Flax.
Flax – Basic Sweater
The pattern is free and comes in sizes newborn to adult sizes 58″ (which should fit a man). This is exactly the pattern I was looking for so I thought I would share it here in case anyone else might like to add it to their library.

Just downloaded 3 patterns-think I will start with the mittens-they have a chance of getting done! As for the sweaters, can’t decide whether to start with a small size for a grandbaby or go for broke for my size….Guess it is mittens first and then can debate the sweater size….Thanks for the tip!

I found this pattern a couple of months ago and thought it was great. There are so many designs you can put in that sleeve design area to change it up a bit. Wish I’d have known what you were looking for so you could have had it sooner.

Thanks, Judy. I love my other sweaters, too, but a basic one is always a good thing to have.
