Fairly often I talk to Addie on Facebook video . . whatever you call that. It’s funny because when we start to hang up, she gives me a kiss (I’m sure Nicole’s computer screen is getting pretty messy), and she hugs me (the computer!).
Last night we were talking and Addie decided to go to her room. Nicole was following along behind her with the computer. Addie was running and she turned around to face the computer and said “Run, Granny!”
It’s going to be funny when I show up for real and am no longer just the lady who lives in her mom’s computer!

It’s past time. I would be there now except for the kidney stones. I have to wait two weeks before they can do x-rays and decide what to do with the left side so by the time that’s all done, it will probably be at least mid-September before I’m able to go that far by myself. I still am having problems with the left side so going far from home/doctor isn’t a good idea right now.

That is adorable!! I know my sister lives for her ‘facetime’ with her little granddaughter. She ‘blows’ on grandma’s coffee to cool it for her. It’s the cutest
thing.

It is funny how they view the computer. My grandson had a funny moment a couple years ago. Too long to retell here so here is a link if that’s OK

I still have those silly little boots too!
My grands are on their way by train tomorrow… I can’t wait to see them. This was a last minute lets go see Granny before school starts kinda thing. My daughter figured 11 hours on a train was better than that same time in a car.
Run Granny… I love it!

Oh how cute!

What a precious story for the memory book. “Run Granny,” you need to make that image or wording into a little quilt……. ;-}

I moved to Texas with my husband last year my Grandson George who is 1.5 year old is with his parents in the UK I Skype everyday with my daughter and Grandson I get to read his night time story. They came to visit us and on there return George would look at the back of the computer to find me, now he understands when he has fallen or wants to read a book he gets the computer to speak to me. I miss my daughter and Grandson but thankfully we have today’s technology I don’t feel I’m missing out on his life too much.

That’s sweet! Thank goodness for computers and internet for those of us with families too far away. At lease I can drive to see Addie.
