Yarn Report – Week 11, 2014

Where do I begin?  Let’s talk about something kinda funny! While I was in MO, there was a Wollmeise update at The Loopy Ewe. I didn’t catch it in the beginning and by the time I saw it, I wasn’t sure how many of the colors were left and I decided I didn’t need any yarn. Good decision, huh? But, I kept going back and looking and some of it was still there and I decided maybe I did need yarn but I didn’t need it arriving while I was gone and Vince would come home to find “Boxes of Fun” on the doorstep. I left The Loopy Elves a note and asked them to hold the package and ship it on March 11. I figured I would be home on Wednesday but wasn’t sure if I might not get home til Thursday so mailing it on the 11th should mean it would arrive on Friday (today), not Saturday while Vince was home. Yes, it was scheduled to arrive today and . . guess who took off work today!   Yep . . Vince!  How’s that for good planning on my part and terrible planning on his part?  🙂

There are 2 skeins each of three different colors (I’ll post photos later . . don’t want to make a big deal about spreading it all out and taking pictures . . kinda want to stick those boxes in the closet and open them when no one is looking!), so that’s 6 skeins. Then there’s the yarn I ordered for Addie’s blanket . . 8 skeins.

I did use one skein!  I finished the Quaker Yarn Stretcher while in MO. I took a picture while in MO but can’t find that memory stick so I’ll have to take a picture of that one later too.
