This morning the duck socks were almost finished. Addie had them on before I finished the I-cords.
We spent the entire day shopping in Springfield. Chad and Vince are two peas in a pod when it comes to shopping. Chad knows how much I dislike it but he was determined to go to Springfield . . he needed something from Bass Pro Shop and today was the only time he could get it before going back to work and then going on a big fishing trip so I sat in the car and knitted while he and Nicole spent well over an hour in Bass Pro Shop. Then it was on to several other places Chad wanted to go and a stop Nicole wanted to make. We finally made it back home and the last I-cords were added to the duck socks.
Now I’ll get back to knitting on my scarf.

That is such a cute picture. I’m imagining what her expression might be while you take that picture! I love going in to Bass Pro Shop. They have lots of things that can be used in my sewing room and now my knitting adventure.

Springfield, Bass-Pro—brings back memories for 1970! Lived in Springfield after getting married and Bass Pro was a dinky little “k-Mart Like” store! But, I remember street names and would not recognize any of the areas any more-Battlefield Mall was new back then! But I loved my Missouri hills and trees and miss then in the flats of NE Indiana!
Like you layout suggestions-think my living room floor is about to become a design floor! Going to sew those blocks together on my treadle-that’s where they were started, so that’s where they will be finished!
Thanks for all you do for the quilting community!

How fun to see your adorable duck project first hand on those cute little feet! Was it hard to attach the i-cord? I’ve put it on the edge but never in the middle like that. Enjoy the resto of your visit; those little ones change daily.
