Yesterday when I posted Vince’s “Box of Fun” photos, reading the comments reminded me that when I first began blogging, Vince did not want to be mentioned . . not by name, not even to mention “my husband”, and there was no way he wanted his picture on the blog. In fact, he totally wanted nothing to do with the blog and would have been quite happy if I had not even been blogging. How things have changed. On the days he’s home, I’m betting at least a dozen times a day, he says “Get your camera . . this would be good for the blog!”
While he was cleaning the shop, he came to the sewing room and said “Come . . and bring your camera!”
The baby chicks were all tuckered out and were sound asleep!
The clicking of the camera caused a few eyelids to pop open but they went right back to sleep. They are so fun to watch.
It’s way too quiet around here without the crowing of Thelma and Smokey. I never thought I would say this but I hope at least one of these babies is a rooster.

Enjoy!! Like all babies they grow way too fast. Well Xmas Eve has dawned here in NZ, and I have plenty to do. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life again, I so enjoy reading all you do. Merry Christmas to you and Vince, and may 2014 bring you many good things (lots more boxes of fun included).
Merry Christmas too to all your readers from NZ!

enjoy those baby chickens – my husband is the same way with my blog – numerous times in the week he will say “that would be a good blog post” or “that would be a great picture for the blog” he means my blog even though he blogs too! Have a Merry Christmas and tell Vince he entertains your readers as well as the chickens!

Oh, I love that handsome black chick plopped right in the middle of the pile!

Vince is half of the Dynamic Duo! He must be a hoot to live with. Isn’t it nice he loves the animals just as much as you do? Enjoy those little chickies!
Linda says
Aw, they are so very sweet.

Men take longer to warm up to some things, I guess, but he warmed right up to the baby chicks, didn’t he? They are so cute.
