My Guernsey Wrap has been waiting to be blocked and I finally did it.
Guernsey Wrap
It was so long that I had to double it to block it which I was afraid meant that winter may be over before it was dry but with the ceiling fan blowing on it, it was dry after about 36 hours. The pattern says it should block to a finished size of 17″ x 74″. Mine is going to block out to 16″ x 79″. I could probably have blocked it a little more aggressively and made it 17″ wide but 16″ is fine.

At this angle, I think you can see the texture. This was such a fun project and I love the design/texture.
The yarn is Dream in Color Classy. The color is Chocolate Night. After soaking, the yarn is very soft and this wrap will be great for wrapping around my shoulders on a chilly evening. This was my project for The Loopy Ewe’s 4th Quarter Challenge.
It was hard to get a good picture with the lighting (or I should say non-lighting) in my house.

It is beautiful! DIC Classy is a great yarn, isn’t it? I am working on an aran sweater with a lot of cables and texture, and just love the way it shows the stitch definition. Someday when I have the nerve, I will get a blog and join in on OTN Fridays and DW Mondays and share,but for now i love getting inspired by the rest of you!
