The entire day Vince and I have been doing things together so I figured I’d spend a few hours this evening sewing. My little helper is constantly by my side being ever so “helpful”.

While I’m sewing, he’s sitting on the table that used to be my ironing table, right by my side, ready to slap at anything that moves or grab my arm or . . anything that moves.
I decided to move over to the computer and type a blog post. Hey .. something on that screen is moving!

It’s kinda hard to type with a kitten blocking the view so I picked him up and put him on the floor. He climbed back up, via the computer tower, where he stepped on the on/off button and turned off the computer! This computer is so old and so full of stuff that it takes forever for it to boot back up. I arranged things on top of the tower so he couldn’t step on the button and then he noticed the strings on my shorts.

The strings flying from him slapping them? Built in cat toys . . right on my legs!
He’s such a sweet kitty but he is so energetic and into everything. I had hoped to finish three blocks tonight but with all the “help” I’m getting, I’ll be doing good to get one done.

Boots is so cute. How did he do with you gone and Vince taking over your place. My kitty is “old” and does nothing but sleep all the time, so she doesn’t interfere or help in my sewing — unless I sit to knit, then she’s on my lap and occasionally moves her paw to tap the end of one needle.

We boarded him. He was at the vet for 8 nights so he was not real happy with me when I picked him up but he got over it by the second day.

How about a pet sitter? They come to you. Might be cheaper.

I don’t think that’s real feasible as rural as we are and not knowing anyone in the area.

Looks like you and I have the same shorts except that I don’t do white LOL). My Rudy is 9 but he still loves to play with those loose ties. Just the right height, nice and soft … AND, best of all, they’re attached to the mommy!!!! What else could a sweet kitty ask for?

I, too, was wondering what Boots did while you were gone. It’s so funny how they get mad at you, and then “forgive” you.
I have an elderly cat, also, who doesn’t pay attention to the screen anymore, but likes to stand right in front of the keyboard! Just as helpful as a kitten.
