Last year towards the end of Fall, I bought a tube of Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin scrub at Bath & Body Works. That stuff smelled so good! I went back for more and it was all gone . . seasonal . . not coming back any time soon. About once a month I get that scrub out and use it, then put it away because I didn’t want to run out. Yesterday on my way home from MO, I stopped at our little mall to see if Sweet Pumpkin Spice was back.
Yes! It was back! Four Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin and two Vermont Autumn Apple sugar scrubs.
Three each – Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin and Vermont Autumn Apple in the body cream. I love to slather this cream on after my shower. Last night I asked Vince if I smelled like a pumpkin and he said he wasn’t quite sure. Whatever it smells like, I love it and am so glad to have a good supply and I don’t have to keep rationing my supply of Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin bath scrub.

I’ll have to look for the scrub. I’m using the Sweet Cinnamon Shower Gel now and I refill my travel size container with it as well. I order a good supply online when they have their big sales and keep stocked. Love that stuff. Anti-bac soap as well in Creamy Pumpkin.

They had a “buy 3/get 3 free” sale that ended yesterday. They have the best sales!

I’ll have to check those out here in the mall. The apple one sounds especially nice. Thanks for the tip. Glad you got a year’s supply!

MMMM – I bet the pumpkin one smells good! I try to stay out of that store because all the scents make my nose stuffy and I get a headache, but just a single natural scent won’t do that. The store is what does it. Too much scent all at once. I need to go to the mall tomorrow…maybe I’ll brave the store if I can find the pumpkin scrub quickly!

They have good specials online too.

I love the scrubs and hand soaps at Bath & Body works. The hand soaps I have now are all Fall themed and they make the bathroom and the kitchen smell so wonderful ! I may have to go back and buy some more .. LOVE them !

My question is why not make your own, we make all of our scrubs and lotions. Much healthier for your skin and much healthier for your wallet. Really very easy, Brambleberry has excellent products to get you started with your own mineral make up (they also carry lotion supplies) as well as DYI cosmetics. The Sage also had products to make your own lotions and scrubs. Since I have reactions to allot of products we have found this is the best way to control what we put on our skin – a great way to bond with granddaughters as you teach them about color in making their foundations and eye makeup, lip colors lotions. The ability to make lotions is so simple and you have a very high end product for small investment.
I love the brown sugar scrub that we make, brown sugar, olive oil, and other essential oils as desired. IF you are not careful with product put a little preservative in it (oliphen ) instead of formaldehyde product. Or go completely natural and use natural oils to do the trick. I make small amounts and have not had an issue.

That sounds wonderful, but I think it would make me hungry!

I had to laugh at Linda Steller’s comment, because that’s the exact reason I don’t get all those yummy flavored, er–scented, candles that are out these days!
Near here, we have a former chef who grows herbs, etc. to make wonderful soaps. I believe the base is palm and coconut oils. Even with my sensitive skin, these soaps are always delightful. I need to stock up!
