My main project is Guernsey Wrap that I’m doing for the Fourth Quarter Loopy Ewe Challenge.
Using worsted weight yarn and 5 mm needles feels huge. I’ve worked with sock weight yarn or sport weight yarn and tiny needles for what seems like forever. This is going to go quickly and it’s very easy. It will be easy to finish this project before the December 15 deadline.
It is supposed to block out to being about 17″ wide. The yarn is Dream in Color Classy which is supposed to wash well so I think I’ll get a lot of wear out of this .. we just so rarely need a full coat around here but something like this will be great for sitting out on the porch or riding through the woods on the RTV.

Looking good. The heavier weight yarn knits up faster and usually has a smaller put-up so you can mark it “used” faster!

that shawl is so pretty the yarn color and the knitting pattern can’t imagine you ripping through the woods with it on a 4 wheeler!

Ours is an RTV so it’s a little more “secure” than a 4 wheeler . . almost like riding through the woods in an open vehicle.

It’s beautiful Judy. Love the color and the pattern.

I have the Guernsey Wrap Shawl pattern but think I like this one much better! Have to check it out. Thanks.

I haven’t taken a picture yet, but I finally fixed my longarm, so while the Intelliquilter is quilting away, I’ve been sitting on my saddle stool, under my Ott light, knitting way. I’ll have that second sock done in no time!
