I’ve mentioned that next time I go to visit Chad and Nicole, she is going to learn to sew. She posted a picture of her mom’s old sewing machine that she has painted and is going to use for her sewing table.

She also has my treadle machine so when I bring her an electric machine, she will have three machines! That’s a good start! 🙂

Yes! I doubt she had ever threaded a needle before starting those hexies. Isn’t her work amazing? I wish she had someone near her who could teach her to do needle turn applique. I think she would love that.

I haven’t looked but I would imagine there are classes on Craftsy and probably some other videos to get her started. Her hexies are great.

There probably is a Craftsy class but I think she would do better with hands on since she’s a true beginner.

I wish I were closer. I would love to teach her to needle turn applique. It’s my favorite way to do appliqué.
