Color for My Special Yarn

Y’all need to help me decide which colors my own special colorway of yarn at The Loopy Ewe should be. I’ve narrowed it down to the two Road to Llano tops I made recently.  Even if you’e not a knitter or you have no intention of buying a skein of the yarn, you can still vote!

First, this is the Road to Llano top made for my friend:

Second is the Road to Llano I need to finish for Chad and Nicole.

  2. Being from Louisiana I am keyed into the colors in Mollie’s Road to Llano! That purple and gold for LSU and the Black and Gold for the Saints! lol

  19. Both colorways are gorgeous! Ordinarily, I really like lime to add some zing to things, but I love the way the yellow/gold sparkles up Mollie’s quilt! It just shines!

  26. I like the colors of both, but I vote for Chad and Nichole’s. Green and purple are my favorite color combination.

    . I like the “softness” of it compared to the brighter colouring.

  48. I love Nicole’s Road colors–I think the purple/green combo would be fantastic in yarn. In fact, I might have to buy some of that!

  49. Even tho lime green is my favorite color, I’m going with the quilt you did for your friend. There is just something about those color ways that appeals to me very much. They are both beautiful quilts tho! Can’t wait to make one myself.

  55. if i have to choose one or the other color grouping to represent what colors i think of when I think of you, I’m going with Mollie’s colors. love the royal purple and gold, LA Mardi Gras combination. That’s the one that says “Judy’s exclusive colors” to me.

  56. How cool! This is a hard choice. I think both colorways say “Judy” but I think the first says it more.

  59. I think Mollie’s Road as I think it would appeal to more people over the long run. You don’t know when the yarn will come out so lime green might not be around that long. Just my thoughts. But congratulations on the getting your own color. What will you make with the yarn when it comes out???

  63. Hi! I say to with Molly’s! I just love the purples! I am getting ready to make a purple quilt for my nephew and his girlfriend in exchange for 2 antique Singer Treadle machines!! YAY!!! Score for me!!!!!
